Over the past several years friends of the Wendell Meetinghouse have supported our efforts to restore and re-open the building in a variety of ways in addition to financial contributions. Along with those serving as officers on our committee, other contributions include local musicians performing for our benefit events, chefs and others preparing feasts, and contributions from many area farms. Many local businesses and artisans have generously donated prizes for our Old Home Day Raffles. Others have helped with posters for events, bakes sale contributions, minor maintenance of the building, cleaning up the grounds, staffing tables at events and attending our benefits.
We continue to welcome your support in these many forms in addition to cash contributions. Presently our current treasurer is hoping and we can find someone to take over this role. She has offered to train her replacement. We are also seeking several more board members to support our fundraising efforts. Now that we have completed a historic structures report, we have the documentation that we need to seek grants from private foundations as well as governmental programs. We would be very grateful to have a few more people to help with grant writing at this time. If you’re able to help with any of these tasks please contact Marianne at firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-544-8981.
